Match/Target Rimfire (MTR)

The Match/Target rimfire stock offers the correct ergonomics for scoped rifles with a raised comb and more vertical pistol grip.  The equal weight distribution and 2" wide forearm provide excellent balance for both off-hand and bench shooting.  The increased forearm depth provides for a recessed magazine well for unobstructed and snag-free handling.  Available for both left-hand right-hand models, and includes a blued metal trigger guard and a natural finish or powder coated aluminum magazine surround.  (SS trigger guards will be offered when Savage makes them available.)

Junior Varmint Rimfire

The Junior Varmint rimfire stock is a scaled down version of our Classic Varmint centerfire stock.  Features include a 2-1/8" wide beavertail forend, straight classic comb, and a more vertical pistol grip with palm swell.  Available for both left-hand right-hand models, and includes with a blued metal trigger guard and a natural finish or powder coated aluminum magazine surround.  (Stainless steel trigger guards will be offered when Savage makes them available.) FEATURES:
  • Classic style straight comb buttstock works well with both scopes and open sights
  • 2-1/8” wide beavertail forend for stability in bags yet is narrow enough for off-hand shooting.
  • Ambidextrous pistol grip with palm swell.
  • Magazine surround is inlet for a flush, snag-free fit.
  • Weight = 2-3/4 pounds

  • All stocks are 100% inlet.
  • All stocks come finish sanded and ready for you to apply your choice of finish.
  • All stocks are available in your choice of left-hand or right hand configuration.
  • Your choice of available laminate pattern (see pattern samples on main stocks page).
  • Standard length-of-pull is 13-3/4".  We can build your stock with a shorter LOP, but not longer.
  • Stocks come standard with an Pachmayr 1/2" recoil pad.
  • Stocks come standard with sling swivel studs
  • Stocks will fit all Model 93R, 93R17, Mark I and Mark II rimfire models only. 
  • Barrel channel is inlet for factory heavy barrel contour.
  • Please be sure to specify which model you have when ordering so we know which bottom metal you will need.
